1. I’m only a beginner in make up and I have no knowledge of how to apply make up. Can I still join the workshop? ‘
Yes! Pros for Props is intended for those who have zero to little knowledge about make up application.
2. I am only interested in joining one workshop – either basic OR advanced. Is that ok?
Yes! One is not a pre-requisite to the other. You may opt to join only basic or only advanced.
3. What is the difference between basic and advanced?
Basic is designed for personal use. We encourage those with zero to minimal knowledge to join the basic module to get a grasp on the foundations of personal makeup. If you are interested to learn more about the technical theories and skills about makeup, then the advanced module is for you! It is specifically designed for those who want to upscale their knowledge on makeup and those who want to pursue a career in makeup artistry.
Of course, both workshops can serve as an introductory or refresher course for any enthusiast of different levels
4. I already know how to apply make up. Can I still join the workshop?
Absolutely. We welcome advanced enthusiasts to join the workshop as well. There may be a thing or two that you might pick up from the workshop. Not only do we teach the proper skin care and basic application of make up, but we also share tips, techniques and break old age myths about make up application as well.
5. Who is the facilitator?
We collaborate with guest professional make up artists who are willing and open to share their best practices and thoughts about make up application. Whomever MUA you chance upon, rest assured that you get 100% knowledge transfer , while having a blast!
6. What is included in the registration fee?
You will be given a discount voucher for 20% off any Props product (valid for a week from the day of the workshop). You will also participate in a photo shoot featuring the different looks you will be creating. Snacks and freebies will be provided by our sponsors. Hand outs will also be provided for your guidance. Lastly, a certificate of participation will be given to you as proof to your completion of the workshop.
7. Can I bring my own make up?
We highly encourage everyone to bring what they have so that we will be able to teach you the proper way of using those products.
8. Will make up and tools be provided at the workshop?
Yes. A wide variety of make up and tools will be provided for your use.
9. Will I learn a lot from a half day workshop?
Pros for Props is an extensive, hands on and fun workshop where sharing stories and asking questions are encouraged. You will learn skin care, brow shaping, basic foundation, color theory, eye make up, day and night looks, contouring and highlighting, and lash application. If there is anything else you would like to know or clarify, feel free to share.
